Installation Steps
- Remove the screen. Short the two test points on the motherboard with the appropriate flex cable, (do not remove the motherboard)
- Install the foam spacer over the short circuit flex cable
- Open Bluetooth settings, Pair the Universal Home Button under devices
- Home button functionality has now been restored
Please note that only the iPhone's original home button assembly is capable of using the Touch ID functionality. Installing this new universal home button assembly will only restore ordinary home button functions, not the Touch ID features.
